Letter Matching Freebie!

I found this great activity on Pinterest.  I thought it was a great literacy center.  I immediately went to the store for spoons.  Be careful when buying spoons, the clear spoons tend to be larger than the white spoons.  I found clear spoons that were the correct size at The Dollar Tree.  Hope this helps.
I wrote the capital letter at the top of the white spoon.  I then wrote the lowercase letter on the clear spoon.  The students will match the capital and lowercase letters by laying the correct clear spoon on top of the white spoon.

I love to have a follow-up activity sheet for the students to do when finished with their activity. While I am working with a small group, the students must be accountable for their time. They know they will have to turn in their activity sheet at the end of literacy centers.  The activity sheet should be run front to back.  Their are two options.  One activity sheet has the capital letters and the students must write in the lowercase letters.  The other option has the lowercase letters.  If you are interested in this literacy center you can get the activity sheets HERE!

  2. That is the suitable weblog for anyone who wants to seek out out about this topic. You realize so much its nearly onerous to argue with you (not that I actually would need…HaHa). You positively put a brand new spin on a subject thats been written about for years. Nice stuff, just nice!
