You are AMAZING!! It is no wonder that I stalk your blog. You and your teaching partner, Mrs. Plant, make creating fun, meaningful activities look so easy. I wish I had your gift. I can't wait to print this off and use it the rest of this week. THANK YOU so much for sharing. I have always loved what I do but both of you make it even more exciting!!

Okay, I have to know where you found the egg.. and what things did you put in it? How did it smell?
Hi Kim, I found the egg last year at Target. It is clear plastic that I put different kinds of paper on the inside to make it interesting. I can not remember what I put in it last year but this year I put candy peanuts in the egg. I thought it would be something my students have not tried. I was right. As for the smell, it smelled like plastic to me, but you know how the imagination of a 5 year old can be. It is a fun activity because I really talk it up and by the time we open it they are so excited. Have a great weekend!Deeanna
