I have been reading your blog for the past hour and all I can say is WOW!!!! You have so many fantastic ideas. My TPT cart is starting to get full. Thank you so much for showing so many pictures and for taking the time to explain everything. I am now an official follower and can't wait to come back for more. Thanks again,
I have a question. On the fuzzy stick (chenille stem), is there tape at the end of it to keep the beads from falling off? I tried numeration bracelets with my kids last year, but they were not capable of handling the concept. I may try again this year, but keep the stick straight. Thanks!
I tie a knot in each end of the stick. This is the second year I have used these for decomposing numbers. I love it because it is so easy for the students to see the different combinations. Hope this helps. Have a great week.
I just found your blog and WOW!!! I'm already a huge fan. :) You have a lot of great stuff here. I love all your creative ways to teach decomposing numbers. Thanks for being so fabulous! Sarah Sarah's First Grade Snippets
