just found your blog and love it. So many things I can make without alot of laminating; I can't wait to have the snow ball fights. Here in Louisiana we have the same lack of snow. thanx
I love you site and your ideas, I have been trying them in my class lately, thanks for all your hard work! I was wondering if you could give me some advice because i am truly at a stand still right now. I have a one room schoolhouse in Thailand with 10 kids from 5-11yrs. My problem is I have an 8 yr old who is still unable to grasp any math or reading concepts at all. I started him with my Kiders this year but 5 month in , they have all passed him by. I have been teaching for 24 yrs and have pulled out all my "tricks", but nothing is working. He seems to have a memory problem, unfortunately, being in Thailand (he is from Australia by the way) there is no learning disabilities help. With all your experience, I was wondering if you have encountered this before, and if you had any gems of wisdom for me???? I know how busy teacher's lives are (did I mention one room school house ALONE??? I hardly breathe!) but I would love any thoughts you (or anyone) may have! Lise
